My X Games Podcast Interview

Tony Donaldson | 08/05

An addendum to my previous podcast entry.

I’ve found a new podcast that I really enjoy. This one also interviewed me for the current interview on Adorama Camera’s site.

Jack Howard is Adorama’s Director of New & Social media. As part of that, he posts things on their “Learning Center”, from fun & informative blog entries to his podcast, “Techtock”. I discovered Techtock recently, and to a photographer who loves technology, it’s an incredible way to hear how some amazing photographers use technology to enhance their art.

The first entry I heard was Jack interviewing Zach Arias about his fantastic video “Transform”. Click the link to watch the video he produced for Scott Kelby’s site. Then listen to his interview on “Techtock” to hear the great thought process behind it, where he talks candidly about the ups and downs of the creative process.

There are several really good interviews, from how SI contributor and freelance photographer David Bergman did his famous gigapixel photograph of the Obama inauguration to Brad Mangin’s passion for baseball. I’m still working my way through them, but love hearing the thought processes of these amazing shooters.

I’m even on there talking about shooting the X Games. Check it out HERE.

You can subscribe to the podcast via iTunes HERE.

Techtock’s blog on Adorama’s learning center is HERE.

HP Envy 110 e-all-in-one wireless wi-fi printer fax scanner review ProPhotoCoalition.com Thumbnail

Hands-on with the HP Envy 110 e-All-In-One

It prints, scans, copies and faxes, more wirelessly than you even expect.

I’ve had the chance to use HP’s new Envy 110 e-All-in-one printer/copier/scanner/fax, and I love it. It’s amazingly easy to set up, has it’s own touch screen to walk you through connecting it to your Wi-Fi (and a LOT more, but we’ll get to that in a bit).

CRU-Dataport Drive Boxes

A safe way to archive and store your old hard drives.

Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past 20 years, you use computers. And if you’re like most of us, you’ve replaced, upgraded or just added new hard drives. And you’ve kept the old ones. There’s stuff on there you’re using for a backup, archiving specific projects, or just saving it. How do you keep those drives safe and organized?
